The Verkhovna Rada adopted an appeal to the Dutch parliament, insisting that the Scythian gold from the Central Museum of Taurida should be returned to Ukraine, not to Russian Crimea, after its exhibition in Dutch museums ends.

“We are talking about items that belong to the state of Ukraine. There are about 1000 titles. They belong to the museum fund of Ukraine.
Today the exposition has already expired. We are talking about a return - either to Crimea, as the Russian Federation insists, or according to the right of its ownership of the territory of Ukraine.
Most likely, there will be a legal challenge. If our parliament supports it, it will help us legally win the decision and return the values,” said deputy Sergei Taruta.
It is noteworthy that the Opposition Bloc also gave 6 votes in support of this decision.
