Venediktov explained why Zelensky is impossible in Russia
In Russia, the coming to power of a person similar to the Ukrainian comedian Vladimir Zelensky is impossible due to a different political system.
Alexey Venediktov, editor-in-chief of the Ekho Moskvy radio station, said this on air on the Sotavision YouTube channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Under current circumstances, the Zelensky phenomenon in Russia is impossible. To do this you need to have a serious multi-party system. After all, the Zelensky phenomenon is based not only on the fact that he is Zelensky, but also on the fact that in Ukraine there was a truly multi-party history with different interest groups, a variety of media. And different industrial groups, say, oligarchs, who also had different interests.
Thus, it was a multi-figured story that was looking for its representative in power. There were four of them: Poroshenko himself, Zelensky, Tymoshenko and Boyko. And they all played, in the good sense of the word, a multi-piece game. And in Russia there is no multi-party system,” says Venediktov.
