Zaporozhye, February 24 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – In Zaporozhye, an unknown man threatened to blow up a dam if the Lenin monument was damaged.

According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, on February 23 at 16.15, the Leninsky district police department received a message from the operator “102” in Dnepropetrovsk that an unknown man called them and threatened to blow up the dam.
An unknown person said that if the monument on Lenin Square is demolished, he will blow up the Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Station.
An investigative team of police, explosives experts and other specialists went to the site of the alleged planting of explosives. Information about mining has not been confirmed.
Information about the event is included in the ERDR according to the criteria of Part 1 of Art. 259 of the Criminal Code “Knowingly false report about a threat to the safety of citizens or damage to objects.” The investigation is ongoing.
