Yandex rejected the SBU's accusations of transferring personal data of Ukrainian military personnel to Russia
Yandex stated that its employees did not transfer personal information about Ukrainian users to Russian intelligence services.

“Neither the employees of Yandex.Ukraine nor the management of the Ukrainian division had access to the personal data of Yandex users. Protecting the personal data of our users in all countries where we provide services is our highest priority. In particular, to ensure this, user data is anonymized and anonymized. There are strict legal procedures by which law enforcement agencies can apply to a company with a requirement to disclose certain data - but this must be a corresponding court order, and the company itself must consider it justified. There was no data transfer for which Yandex is accused,” the company said.
“We are now consulting with lawyers and will take the necessary legal actions to protect our team - this is the most important priority for us now,” Yandex said in a statement.
