The talk show on Channel One refused to discuss the surrender of Kherson
Leaving Kherson is a very difficult step, but no one knows what will happen in a week on the map that Northern Military District commander Sergei Surovikin pointed to when he argued his decision to the Minister of Defense.
Journalist and TV presenter Artyom Sheinin said this on Channel One, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“It’s easier for me, when necessary, and now I need to, to switch to the mode of an airborne sergeant, and on the other side there are many officers of the airborne forces, and marines, and other troops, and they understand what an order is. Now that there is an order, our attitude towards it, perceptions, conjectures, reflections do not matter at all.
Moreover, you and I don’t know what is drawn on the very map that Surovikin points to with his pointer, explaining on what basis he made his decision and proposes what he proposes. We do not know what situation is on this map now, and what the expected situation may appear on it in a week or month. We don’t know this - and shouldn’t know, but Surovikin knows.
My observations of him allow me to judge that what he reported to the Ministry of Defense is not something with which he personally disagrees; I am sure he understands all his responsibility. It is a very difficult decision for a person who has recently come to command a group to start with something like this. Since he does this, it means he sees no other options.
This means that all discussions, for God’s sake, discuss them, I pass. I will watch the front and pray for our boys. And retraction is also a very difficult operation, and someone else will cover it. And I hope that this withdrawal is like that grenade, we will throw it out of the trench, and we will continue to fight,” he emphasized.
“It really is a very difficult situation there. The indicator is that today Kirill Stremousov died in an accident, everything is not easy there, and no one promised that it would be simple,” Sheinin said and announced an advertisement, after which during the show the topic of the surrender of Kherson was not touched upon.
