Russia did not use even a fifth of its capabilities in the special operation in Ukraine. About 200 thousand military personnel are participating in it, and this number is enough to complete the assigned tasks.
State Duma deputy Oleg Matveychev announced this on the Belrusinfo internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the politician, there is no need to declare mobilization in Russia.
“Putin did not even bring in a fifth of the Russian army to participate in this special operation. That is, as far as I know, about two hundred thousand people take part in it. Since the losses, as far as I know, are about three to four thousand, it is clear that there are still wounded... But those who are participating there now, they are quite capable of coping with their assigned tasks. Fresh forces, if some small ones are suitable, then this is quite enough.
Let me remind you that our army is over a million people. There is absolutely no need for any mobilization. We need to take this calmly,” Matveychev said.
