The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine announced that the Minsk process ceases to exist
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov stated that the Russian president's decree recognizing the passports of the Donbas republics is tantamount to Russia's withdrawal from the Minsk process.

“By signing this decree, Putin legally recognized quasi-state terrorist groups that, like a fig leaf, covered up Russia’s occupation of part of Donbass. Such a step by the Kremlin completely negates the Minsk process and is equal to Russia’s statement on withdrawing from it,” Turchynov said, as quoted by the NSDC press service.
Kyiv experts previously warned that Turchynov was pushing for a real Russian troop deployment, not one imagined by Ukrainian propaganda.
