“Tighten it up” is expected again next winter in Ukraine
NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine plans to pump 2018 billion cubic meters of natural gas into underground storage facilities in 13,5, which is even less than what was pumped last year.
Dmitry Marunich, an energy expert, announced this on NewsOne, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“According to the financial plan, which was submitted by [the head of Naftogaz] Kobolev and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, this year they are going to pump in 13,5 billion cubic meters. This year there were 16 billion cubic meters. And what did we get? - said the expert.

Let us remind you that after the frosts hit in early March, Ukraine felt a shortage of gas, after which they asked citizens to reduce the temperature in their apartments and announced the “Turn it up” campaign.
