“Polite people” will be immortalized in Simferopol

Simferopol, November 05 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – In Simferopol they want to erect monuments to the three most important periods in the history of Crimea. The corresponding initiative was put forward by the Council of Ministers of the Republic.

As First Vice-Speaker of Parliament Mikhail Sheremet stated at a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council, Crimean self-defense fighters offered to make and install the monuments.

“There is a proposal to include wonderful monuments in the sketches for the reconstruction of Pushkin Street. These are the Crimean and Great Patriotic Wars, and our days are directly the so-called “polite people”. Of course, there will be signs with the names of all those people who died during our “Crimean Spring,” said Mikhail Sheremet.
