As Navigator learned, 175 school-age children were sent on vacation to the Artek international children's center, where they will spend 21 days.
One of the children, third-grader Nikolai, noted in his communication with us that he still has his parents at home, and he will call them every day:
“It's very scary there. There is a war going on. I hope that when we return home from Crimea, everything will be over,” the boy said.
Travel and trips to Artek are free for children from Slavyansk - tickets were paid for by sponsors, and accommodation was organized at the expense of the Crimean authorities.
