In Sevastopol schools they study the Crimean Tatar language and are not against introducing Ukrainian
The Crimean Tatar language is studied in four schools in Sevastopol, covering 237 people. They are provided with scientific and methodological literature and textbooks.

“Previously, we did not have any opportunity to study our native language. This is the first time such an opportunity has arisen. From all the parents, thank you very much,” said Enver Mamutdinov, chairman of the Crimean Tatar association of the Sevastopol region “Ak-Yar”.
According to the director of the Department of Education of the Government of Sevastopol, Igor Belozerov, the city budget includes funds for the purchase of textbooks on the Ukrainian language, if there are people who want to study it in schools. So far there have been no statements from parents.
Sevastopol schools are studying Crimean Tatar and are not against introducing Ukrainian.
