In Sevastopol, EdRo formed a court public council
Sevastopol, July 21 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – Social activists in Sevastopol are outraged by the appearance of a public expert council (PEC) under the governor, created “under the auspices” of the United Russia party behind the scenes, without publicity and without the involvement of well-known local activists.

The new structure includes 100 members. The presentation of the ECO took place on July 18 in the presence of the head of the commission on the quality of life of the United Russia social platform, the leader of the Joy of Life in Russia movement, Olesia Romanova.
Well-known social activists in Sevastopol received this news with surprise - they fear that the new body will include only convenient authorities of the organization. Another point of criticism is that the ECO was created by a specific party.
In comments to Navigator, coordinator of the “Sunny Chersonesos” movement, Irina Ostaschenko, explained that “we are talking about a certain project implanted from Moscow, or rather from the United Russia party. Only for some reason on the site of the Sevastopol government and under the controversial slogan “we will train Sevastopol residents.”
“The desire to bring in some projects under the auspices of the EdRo party, like a public council under the governor, is the wrong path that our new government is following,” assures Ostashchenko.
She believes that “for 4 months, since the public council at the SSGA stopped working, the government has remained uncontrolled by the public.”
An alternative public council may soon appear in Sevastopol, announced the head of the Sevastopol Charitable Foundation “Vozrozhdenie” Valery Vasyunin.
