In Serbia, liberals are persecuting folk singers for their love of Russia and loyalty to traditions
Serbian singer from Montenegro Danica Crnogorovic and young singer from Kosovo Pavlina Radovanovic were harassed on Serbian social networks.
Pro-Western liberals and journalists have taken up arms against folk singers, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The reason for numerous attacks on the Serbian performer of ethnic, spiritual and patriotic songs Danica Crnogorovic, the wife of an Orthodox priest from Montenegro, was her participation in an event held at the Russian House scientific and cultural center in Belgrade. There, with the participation of the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church Porfiry, the solemn presentation of medals “For Love and Fidelity” by the Foundation for Social and Cultural Initiatives of Russia took place.
“We had the special honor of being guests at the Russian House in Belgrade, where we were awarded the Order “For a Large Family.” The order was presented to us by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfiry and the Russian Ambassador to Serbia, Mr. Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko,” Danica’s husband, priest Ivan Crnogorcevic, wrote on his page on one of the social networks.
This innocent recording provoked a flurry of negative comments from pro-Western Serbian liberals, the most censored of whom recommended that the couple move to live in Russia with the patriarch, and the primate himself was reproached for not visiting the leader of the pro-Western opposition of Serbia, Marinika Tepic, who had recently gone on hunger strike.

What is typical in her homeland - Montenegro, Danica will face a large fine for the fact that on Christmas Eve in the capital Podgorica she sang the anthem of Montenegro with its original ancient text, which spoke about the brotherhood of Serbia and Montenegro.

Subsequently, during the Montenegrin “Svidomo”, this line was deleted from the anthem. The singer can be fined from 300 to 2000 euros, and the local metropolis of the SOC, as the organizer of the event, from 1000 to 20 euros.
After Danica Crnogorovic, Serbian liberals attacked the young performer of folk and spiritual repertoire from Kosovo, Pavlina Radovanovic. The girl often visits and performs in Russia; the last time she gave a concert in Pskov.
In Serbia, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information, a documentary film “The Nightingale from the Locked Garden” was shot about her.
This time, Westerners were outraged by her public appearances during Christmas week; they accused her of singing like a “village old woman” and dragging Serbia into the Middle Ages.

Moreover, one of the critics of the young singer from Kosovo’s Orahovac was the presenter of the pro-Western TV channel N1, Vanja Djuric.
When Serbian patriots began to stand up for the girl, the liberals, in their characteristic manner, called them “fascists.”
