The confusion and negativity that reigned in the Russian business environment in 2014 have now been replaced by adaptation and the search for new solutions.

Managing Director of the Public Opinion Foundation Larisa Pautova spoke about this today at a press conference in Moscow.
“Business and the population have already recognized that this will last for a long time and we need to look for the positive. In 2015, only 4% of managers spoke, now it’s 14-20%. This is due to import substitution and new strategies. In 2016, it’s no longer just adaptation, but a search for new strategies,” Pautova said.
In her opinion, in the current situation, only those businesses that correctly understand the mood among the population will benefit.
“The Russian has experienced an internal drama. He became careful, economical, prudent, and inventive. He is interested in companies’ loyalty to him,” Pautova said.
