Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission.
“This is a good result, and it became possible thanks to the fact that we put things in order in the area of financing and were able to remove obstacles that led to delays and even sometimes failure of the assigned tasks,” the Kremlin’s official website quotes Putin.
The President of the Russian Federation emphasized the need for clear and timely implementation of state defense orders.
“However, a number of problematic issues remain unresolved,” the president said.
Putin believes that for the successful implementation of the state defense order, fundamental scientific research in the interests of the country's defense is of key importance.
“In this regard, the Russian Academy of Sciences proposed wider and more active use of the potential of its specialized institutes,” the president said.
The Russian Academy of Sciences will be involved in fulfilling state defense orders.
