The Rada is talking about Nord Stream 2 again
The predicted drop in pressure in the Ukrainian gas transmission system after the introduction of Nord Stream 2 will complicate gas supply in Ukraine, and no one is addressing this problem.
MP Yaroslav Moskalenko announced this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and committee chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“About Ukrtransgaz.” I’ll quote what Merkel said: “After the introduction of Nord Stream 2, Ukraine’s role as a gas transit country should remain.” Whose responsibility is it, who should do it? We. What's happening today? People with many years of experience are leaving because when Nord Stream 2 starts working, the pressure will go from 75 atmospheres to 10. When it becomes 10 atmospheres, we will not be able to supply more gas throughout the country, even if we have it. “Ukrtransgaz is not doing anything, no one bears political responsibility, there is no leadership today, there is only an acting one,” he said.
The Rada is once again discussing Nord Stream 2.
