The Rada proposes to overwhelm Russia with Ukrainian passports in retaliation
Russia is supposedly full of ethnic Ukrainians eager to obtain Ukrainian citizenship, especially in Tyumen, Moscow and Kuban. If you meet them halfway, Putin’s regime will go crazy.
This response to Moscow for issuing Russian passports to Donbass was proposed during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by a deputy from the Will of the People faction, Evgeniy Rybchinsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“If there is a war and they act against us undiplomatically, then we must respond in the same undiplomatic way. There is Kuban, which is ethnically Ukrainian, and there is partly Ukrainian Tyumen. And there are so many Ukrainians living in Moscow itself that we can’t even imagine,” the deputy calculated.
In addition, according to Rybchinsky, if Kyiv starts distributing Ukrainian passports in Moscow, it will put the Russian government in a difficult hopeless situation.
“Why don’t we start distributing Ukrainian passports right in the center of Moscow? I want to see the reaction of the Kremlin dwarf. Let them in the Duma think in the same way about which international organization to contact in order to stop the distribution of Ukrainian passports. Some may think I'm joking. No, this is not a joke,” assured the odious people’s deputy.
