Simferopol, December 27 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – There are unprecedented queues at the Crimean traffic police headquarters.

Due to confusion with the extension of the transition period for drivers (Crimean residents were not explained whether the simplified re-registration procedure would be extended from January 1, 2015 - PolitNavigator), already from 5-00 in the courtyard of the MREO on the street. About a hundred people gathered at Kievskaya in Simferopol, and by the time work began (8-00), the number of people wishing to replace their driver’s license and re-register their car, according to the observations of a PolitNavigator correspondent, numbered three hundred people.
Please note that to begin going through all the necessary procedures, drivers need to receive a coupon at the electronic queue terminal, of which there are six on the territory.
At the same time, contrary to people’s expectations, the terminals began working not at 8:00, as expected, but at 10:30. We note that none of the traffic police officers explained to the people in line the reason for the delay. Later it turned out that this was due to the fact that inspectors began to accept drivers from yesterday’s queue out of turn in the morning, since due to a power outage many of them did not have time to complete the procedure for re-registration and replacement of licenses.
Having started working at 10:30, the electronic queue terminals only issued coupons for an hour, after which a message about no free time was displayed on the screen. Thus, hundreds of dissatisfied drivers were forced to leave with nothing.
Separately, it is worth noting that not a single traffic police officer was able to explain to the people the work schedule after the holidays.
This trend is already becoming characteristic of the new government of the republic - people are ready to endure temporary inconveniences, but on the condition that the government makes contact with them and begins to carry out explanatory work.
