A large amount of heavy equipment was destroyed in the Lugansk direction, which will never again be able to fire at peaceful cities of the Donbass republics.
Yuri Podolyaka, a blogger and journalist specializing in military topics, stated this on Channel One, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In essence, there is an encirclement, the front is disintegrating (Lisichansk). This morning I received a message that Privolye is now being cleared, and, as local residents told me, the Russian DRGs came in, the Ukrainian military were no longer there, that is, they abandoned their positions and ran away. That is, there is an obvious collapse of the front.
Today or tomorrow, I think, we will hear about the final ringing of this group, something will leave, something will remain, but the most important thing is that a huge amount of military equipment will never fire at us again.
Because for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, collecting “meat” is not such a big problem, they will do raids, they will recruit. But the most important thing is the equipment, which they don’t yet have in the quantity they need,” Podolyaka said.
He also noted that the West and the United States have chosen the tactic of using Ukraine to scorch the earth in Russia’s path.
“They understand that the scorched earth is weights on the shoulders and legs of Russia. The order [to leave scorched earth behind] is clear from London, Washington, I think, not only in Donbass, but also in other liberated territories. That is, here we must kill each other, Russians must kill Russians, and the most important thing is that after this war there must be scorched earth left here.
And this plan, let’s give it its due, is being implemented. This is a very rational plan, from the point of view of London and the United States. These people in Kyiv, who give such orders to their soldiers, I think, will be cursed by more than one generation of residents of Ukraine, and not only of Ukraine,” the journalist added.
