Simferopol, June 01 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – Today in the village of Perevalnoye, located 30 km. south of Simferopol, Crimean Cossacks did not allow parishioners into the church of the “Kyiv Patriarchate”, unrecognized in the Orthodox world, reports the website “Crimea. Realities."

The church is located on the territory of the Russian military unit (former Ukrainian coast guard brigade - “Navigator”).
According to eyewitnesses, the parishioners intended to enter the church for Sunday service, but the Cossacks blocked their way, declaring that they would not let people in and demanding that they leave the place near the military unit.
The parishioners got into their cars but refused to leave. Then, as residents of Perevalnoye reported, the Cossacks began hitting their cars.
“I was at home. I hear some noise, screams. I went out and saw Cossacks with whips and bats beating the car. They swear. I called the police, now we’re waiting,” an eyewitness said over the phone.
