If Ukraine tries to destroy the Crimean bridge with Western missiles transferred to it, then Russia will respond by destroying the bridges connecting the left and right bank parts of this country.
Military expert Mikhail Khodarenok stated this on air at Vesti FM, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Khodarenok, control centers in Kyiv and hydraulic structures in Ukraine will also be under attack.
" I assume that if there are strikes or attempted strikes on the Crimean Bridge, then everything in this life must be paid for—the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have to pay, ultimately. And how can they pay? The loss of all their Dnieper bridges in that case—we have the means to destroy these bridges . "
"If they're disabled, Ukraine will essentially be cut in two, and try repairing that bridge later... The hydraulic structures—you, gentlemen, could lose them too, if you continue to be relentless in launching strikes against Russian territory. Again, the highest levels of command in Kyiv, the personalities involved. A response will inevitably follow, and the cost of that response could exceed all the ATACMS missiles Ukraine might acquire," Khodarenok concluded.
