Nationalist “Self-Defense” split in Odessa
A group of Odessa Self-Defense activists announced their withdrawal from the organization due to disagreement with the leadership’s policies.

As Gleb Zhavoronkov, a former activist of the organization, reports on social networks, we are talking about about 15 members of the organization.
“From an independent organization of idealists risking their lives, Self-Defense has become led by dishonest people,” the activist writes.
Victoria Sibir, who until recently headed the organization’s press service, also announced her resignation from it.
“I am leaving the post of press secretary of the Odessa Self-Defense and the organization itself. I remain with my concerns about democracy, legality, transparency and the inability to justify ugly actions with patriotism,” said Victoria Sibir.
