In New York they are going to try Dodon “for actions in favor of Russia”
The actions of the Moldovan authorities, who intend to terminate the concession agreement for the international airport in Chisinau, will be challenged in a New York court.
The British publication London Globe writes about this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Economic analyst Cristina Petru claims that Moldovan President Igor Dodon wants to hand it over to his “Russian allies in the Kremlin.”
She stated that Dodon “will do everything to terminate the concession agreement, even at the cost of paying a significant penalty from the state budget.”
“It is believed that Dodon wants the Russian company Novaport to take control of Chisinau Airport.
“Novaport is a transport company specializing in the management of regional airports throughout the CIS,” the article says.
Let us recall that in February the Moldovan government filed a lawsuit to seize all real estate of Avia Invest, which took over the airport concession. The Cabinet of Ministers was going to cancel the contract and freeze the company's accounts.
After this, Russian businessman Andrei Goncharenko announced that he would sell 95% of the shares of Avia Invest. He acquired them in August 2019 from Nat Rothschild's company NR Investments Ltd.
Two months earlier, the previous owner of Avia Invest SRL, oligarch and husband of singer Jasmine, Ilan Shor, fled the country.
Dodon is set to stand trial in New York for "actions in favor of Russia."
