November – the beginning of the end for Poroshenko
The legitimacy of the current Ukrainian government will be destroyed with the beginning of the heating season, when people receive their first payments for November. Political consultant Dmitry Dzhangirov spoke about this on UkrLife.
According to him, high utility tariffs are destroying the middle class and making the poor even poorer.

“Local elections will completely undermine the moral legitimacy of the government. Maybe the elections won’t be so dirty, in essence, but they will spoil people’s souls – that’s for sure. And the highlight of this campaign will be the November payments. In our country, the antisocial nature of tariffs is manifested in the fact that the lower part of the middle class, having paid the tariffs, moves into the poor class, the poor become even poorer. This can be seen from the drop in retail turnover by 25%. We didn’t have such a decline even in the 90s. People stop stockpiling, spending everything they have,” Dzhangirov said.
As PolitNavigator reported, the National Guard of Ukraine has begun emergency exercises to disperse the Maidan.
