In the new year - with new barracks: Poltorak set a task for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak set a new task for the leadership of the defense department and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to build a modern housing and barracks facility for Ukrainian soldiers.

The minister announced this on his Facebook page.
“I set the task for the leadership of the defense department and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to change approaches to the preparation of the existing housing and barracks stock and the construction of a new one,” he noted.
“There is a need to move away from the Soviet approach to this issue. It is necessary to look for new forms of construction and deployment of units that return to their permanent locations,” noted the Minister of Defense.
He also emphasized that this is especially true for brigades that were recently created and have now returned from the combat area in Donbass.
“The military personnel have been fighting in difficult conditions for almost a year, our duty is to provide them with everything they need,” Poltorak added.
