The new episode aired on Fox on October 16.

In the story, the main character Homer Simpson comes to the polling station for the US presidential election, where he meets a stranger, who turns out to be the Russian leader. He votes for the Republican candidate Donald Trump. The creators of the series presented Putin in the famous image - with a naked torso on a horse.

The US elections will be held on November 8th. Recent polls show Trump eight percentage points behind Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

In early September, Putin critically assessed both candidates for the US presidency. He said that they are using the Russian factor in their campaign, emphasizing that he considers the anti-Russian policy short-sighted.
