Drivers have called on their other colleagues not to report to work until taxi service management meets their demands, Naspravdi reports.
Let us note that drivers complain that with the current “minimum wage” of 22 UAH. they work at a loss, and at current prices the “minimum wage” should be at least 40 UAH, each next km – 10 UAH.
When asked by the correspondent why those gathered protest through meetings and not through dialogue with management, they answer that “what’s the point, they’ll just fire us.”
Let us add that the head of one of the taxi services refused to comment on the situation with the strike, explaining that “those who want to work work, and I am not going to participate in protests.”
We also add that taxi drivers plan to continue to strike against what they consider to be the low “minimum wage.”
