In Moscow they said that the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Naval Forces deserves prison
Under the pretext of martial law, Ukraine has closed entry into Crimea for foreign citizens - primarily Russians. Thus, Kyiv is conducting a special operation to break ties between citizens of the two countries that are undesirable for the ruling regime.
This opinion was expressed on the Rossiya 1 TV channel by Senator Franz Klintsevich, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They announced that Crimea is closed, practically no citizen of the Russian Federation can cross the border, can neither enter nor leave.
There are people living in Crimea who have a huge number of relatives. Of course, Russia will not close anything, relatives will come to Crimea and relax.
Another thing is that before the New Year holidays and for the New Year, a huge number of citizens of the Russian Federation go to visit their relatives in Ukraine. They are coming with money, with gifts, with some kind of relationship. But, as the current government has shown today, these communications are most harmful to them. This is a special operation that should break these ties,” the senator said.
Klintsevich also explained why a tanker was appointed commander of the Ukrainian Navy.
“I wanted to answer the question of why a tanker commands the navy. Because there is no fleet, but we need an officer who will carry out any order, even the stupidest one. And everything is connected with this,” he stated.
The senator also noted that the officer has the right not to carry out a criminal order.
"An officer shouldn't follow any order if, according to the law, it will lead to consequences, and this ( the provocation in the Kerch Strait – editor's note ) could have led to consequences, then the Ukrainian prosecutor's office should have jailed this commander-in-chief," Franz Klintsevich concluded.
