Moscow discussed whether the Russian Federation needs to intervene in Ukrainian affairs
The problems of Ukraine should be solved exclusively by the citizens of this country themselves.
Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on the TV channel TVC, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Ukraine’s problems must be solved by Ukraine itself. Whatever they decide - either by dividing, or not dividing, or something else, that is what we will deal with. Because exactly what we have learned is that we don’t have to solve other people’s problems for them.
After all, what happened these days in Prague is very significant. They have now demolished the monument to Marshal Konev. You understand the degree of cynicism and squalor - they wrote that they demolished it because he stood there without a mask. This is a mockery of us, our ancestors, our history, and what we did for them then, in the spring of 1945.
Therefore, we also learned a lot. And we will act in accordance with this historical knowledge,” Kulikov said.
In turn, Russian film director and general director of Mosfilm Karen Shakhnazarov emphasized that Russia is a superpower with its own geopolitical interests, so Moscow can, to a certain extent, influence what is happening in Ukraine.
“I absolutely agree with you. It is clear that the problem of Ukraine must be solved by the Ukrainian people. But it is clear that this also affects Russia’s interests. And, like any superpower whose interests are affected, Russia can exert a certain influence and can receive a certain advantage from a particular situation that has developed in the world.
And today it is developing in such a way that it is obvious that Ukraine worries the West less and less, this is obvious. That is, a lot of opportunities may arise there,” Shakhnazarov added.
