Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine: for the sake of the fight against the “damned empire”, the priority is the United States, not China
The United States is a “security provider” and, as such, is Ukraine’s main partner, relations with which are more priority than relations with China.
Director of the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Sergei Korsunsky, stated this in an interview on the Delovaya Stolitsa channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Of course, the priority and main partner should be the United States. This is clear.
From an economic point of view, China and the United States are now about the same weight. But the US is a security provider. For us today this is the key.
While this damned empire sits, while it threatens us with destruction, while this entire army stands on our border, until Crimea and the occupied Donbass are returned, we cannot afford the luxury of withdrawing from cooperation with the United States in the field of security,” he said.
