Mariupol, February 03 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – In Mariupol, all Mariupol men who are suitable for service will receive summonses.

This was stated by the deputy military commissar for work with personnel and the public of the Donetsk Military Commissariat, Nikolai Shary, as reported by the publication "0629".
According to him, everyone who previously served in the army, studied at a military department, or did not serve in the army due to a deferment will receive summonses. At the same time, men who are not fit for service and have military ID cards with the appropriate entry will not be mobilized.
“They do not yet recruit Mariupol women for military service, since even in such a specialty as military medics, men are preferred. There are enough of them for now. So women will be called up only in cases of extreme necessity,” the media writes.
As the military commissar of the Mariupol city military registration and enlistment office Dmitry Ivanchenko emphasized, he cannot name the exact number of those who will be mobilized in Mariupol, since this is a military secret, although it was previously reported that 1000 Mariupol residents would be mobilized.
