In Lugansk they said goodbye to Lieutenant Colonel of the People's Militia of the LPR Mikhail Kishchik, call sign “Chechen”.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports , he was one of the first to join the ranks of those fighting the Kiev regime at the start of the "Russian Spring."
Later, Kishchik headed one of the Cossack units, on the basis of which a territorial defense battalion was later formed. The Chechen unit defended one of the most dangerous sectors of the front for eight years, fighting against punitive forces from the separate 79th separate assault brigade.
“Mikhail always fought shoulder to shoulder with his subordinates, who over the years became a real family for him. Service to the Fatherland became the meaning of life for him. While performing his military duty during the liberation of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Mikhail died,” the People’s Militia of the LPR reported.
The deceased was buried on the Walk of Fame of the Lugansk cemetery.
