In Lysichansk, temporarily controlled by Ukraine, a man has been put on the wanted list for killing one of the police officers during a raid and wounding two more, after which he managed to escape.
This was reported by local Ukrainian police, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“On April 18, at the place of residence of a 42-year-old Lisichansk resident, the police, together with representatives of the territorial defense of the city of Lisichansk, discovered a grenade during a check of operational information.
During the seizure of ammunition, the offender threw an explosive device and opened fire from a pistol towards law enforcement officers. As a result, a senior police detective in Lisichansk was fatally wounded, and two other police officers were injured. The suspect fled the scene,” the report said.
