Globes with Crimea as part of Russia were withdrawn from sale in Latvia
Most stores of the Latvian retail chain Maxima sold globes depicting the Crimean peninsula as part of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by the Baltic news resource Delfi.
According to SIA Maxima Latvija representative Janis Beceris, the globes were produced in Poland. “There are eight types of globes available in stores, as stated by the globe supplier. The mentioned state division (Crimea as part of Russia) is only on one of the types of globes,” the publication quotes Beceris.
These products appeared on the shelves at the end of July. Currently, trade in it has been suspended, and the globes themselves have been seized, Delfi reports.
