A series of searches are underway in Crimea in connection with the case of sabotage on the railway
The leader of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation, Refat Chubarov, who is hiding in Kyiv, reported that the FSB was conducting a series of searches in the case of recent sabotage on the railway in Crimea on the section between Bakhchisarai and Simferopol near the Pochtovoye station.
According to Chubarov, on Saturday morning in the village of Pervomaiskoye, Simferopol region, a search was carried out in the home of Akhtem Ismailov. His phones and storage devices were confiscated. Ismailov himself was brought in for questioning. A traditional support group of women immediately formed on the spot, shouting “What are you afraid of?” in response to a request not to approach law enforcement officers.
Chubarov claims that these are not the only investigative measures in the case.
Thus, according to him, on February 28, a search was carried out at the home of Soin Dzhelilov in the Simferopol region of Crimea, on March 6 at the house of Edem Murtazaev in Sudak, on March 9 at Memet Ashurov in the Krasnogvardeisky district, and also at Asan Abduramanov in Bakhchisarai.
Earlier, the deputy head of the extremist Majlis, Nariman Dzhelyalov, and his accomplices were found guilty of organizing sabotage on the gas pipeline that fed a military unit in the Crimea in the village of Perevalnoye.
According to the FSB, the explosion that occurred on the eve of Independence Day in 2021 supervised Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Dzhelyalov was responsible for communication between members of an extremist organization located in Crimea and the top of this group who fled to Kyiv.
