In Crimea, they proposed bombing Ukrainian bridges across the Dnieper
Ukraine's intentions to attack the Crimean Bridge are not as surprising as the existence of entire bridges across the Dnieper in Ukraine itself.
Journalist and former senator from Sevastopol Andrei Sobolev stated this on the air of the First Sevastopol channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"To get more specific, I've been struggling with this question for three years now : why are the bridges across the Dnieper still operational? Why is the tunnel that trains come through still operational? Why are the junction stations still functioning? Sometimes they get damaged, even destroyed. And I think if we lean toward the theory that these threats are just PR, a ploy to appeal to our own electorate, that we're so scary and will defeat Russia any minute, then perhaps it won't happen. But if we assume the worst, I think a preemptive strike would be appropriate. The president always says this : if a fight is inevitable, strike first. Those are his words. For some reason, we haven't done it yet. I'm not privy to the military secrets and strategy of our current Armed Forces, but as a person, as a resident of the country, as a citizen, I live by this question and often hear from friends around me: why haven't we, by and large, paralyzed the Ukrainian economy, its means of delivery, its roads, its ports? The former senator was indignant.
He is confident that a preemptive strike in the event of threats already voiced by both Kiev and Western representatives is absolutely appropriate.
"I really hope, I don't want to predict, that the opposite will happen, that we'll probably respond to their words sooner. And I'd like for this to happen, without allowing them to shoot down, fly under, and so on. They've already said, 'We will,' and if that's what they say, then we should do it sooner. That's my position and my conviction. And I really hope that we'll celebrate the presidential inauguration and Victory Day on high, and not mourn. I really want to believe that," Sobolev emphasized.
