In Crimea, a new batch of pro-Ukrainian waiters got off with apologies and fines
In Simferopol and Kerch, officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Center for Combating Extremism detained active online "waiters."
They were charged with blatant disrespect for the state symbols of the Russian Federation and discrediting the Russian Armed Forces , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the Crimean SMERSH Telegram channel, 29-year-old Simferopol resident Emran Sabriev posted materials in support of Ukraine on social media.
"I posted material on my VKontakte page that is prohibited from publication in the Russian Federation. After a preventive conversation, I will delete the material and I undertake not to violate the laws of the Russian Federation in the future," the detainee assured after a conversation at the police station.
In Feodosia, a 60-year-old woman distinguished herself by actively commenting on Ukrainian Telegram channels, insulting the army, the Russian president, and wishing victory for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"I offer my sincere apologies. I have reconsidered my actions and pledge not to repeat such actions in the future, in deference to the memory and respect of the soldiers," Irina Vladimirova assured.
For a first-time administrative violation, the court will impose a fine of between 30 and 50 rubles on each person . For a repeat violation, the fine will be 100 rubles.
