A monument to a Russian writer was destroyed in the Crimean Gurzuf
The public of Yalta is outraged - in Gurzuf one of the main symbols of the House of Creativity, whose name it bears - the bust of the famous Russian artist Konstantin Korovin - was destroyed.

This was reported by the news agency “Novy Den”.
According to the agency, one of the buildings of the Korovin House of Artists is being ruined and is in disrepair.
“Residents of Gurzuf, where this facility is located, suspect that this is happening intentionally: after building No. 2 is finally brought to an unusable state, it may be demolished, and a high-rise building or other modern facility will appear in this place,” the publication says.
As noted in the publication, local residents believe that people behind the interests of the owners of nearby modern high-rise buildings may be interested in the destruction of the building.
“One of such objects is the Pushkinsky residential complex, as well as building No. 2 of the House of Creativity located on the Gurzuf embankment. According to Baryshnikov, the chief architect of Yalta, Vladimir Pristupa, admitted that the complex was built with violations,” the publication says.
