This was stated by Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Valery Chaly
“We agreed to hold expert consultations in Berlin with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday (February 9 – ed.) and a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on Tuesday with the participation of the signatories of the Minsk agreements. And it is very important that if this preparation is successful, then on Wednesday, February 11, a meeting in the Normandy format may take place in Minsk,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
In turn, the Kremlin also called the agreement of a number of positions a condition for the meeting.
“We agreed that we will try to organize a meeting in the same (Normandy – editor’s note) format between the heads of state and government in Minsk. We will focus on Wednesday if by this time it is possible to agree on a number of positions that we have recently intensively discussed,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, the Kremlin press service reports.
As PolitNavigator reported, experts previously stated that the next week will be decisive in matters of peaceful resolution of the situation in Donbass.
