The US Congress is frightening with strings of Iranian satellites launched into space by Russia
Russia and Iran may jointly launch spy satellites into space.
Bennam Ben Taleblu, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, stated this at a meeting of the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Today I decided to sound the alarm about cooperation in the field of space. There is serious concern that Russia may be helping Iran launch spy satellites for military purposes, which could improve the accuracy of Iranian ballistic missiles,” Taleblu said.
As “proof” of his words, he showed a photo in which the Russian and Iranian commanders of the Aerospace Forces shake hands.
Taleblu fears that Iran and Russia “could easily deepen their relationship – be it on nuclear issues, the lifting of sanctions or the expulsion of the US from Syria.” He also suggests sounding the alarm about both countries' cooperation with China.
