Kyiv is hatching plans to turn Donbass into a second Syria
The Kiev command plans to implement the “Syrian scenario” in the Donbass by organizing chemical sabotage at an industrial enterprise in the Donbass and, thus, receiving carte blanche to attack the “aggressor” in the person of the DPR.
This opinion was expressed by retired DPR army soldier Igor Nemodruk in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Such a scenario is very possible, because they need a reason to get out of the current stalemate for them. They have a desire to sweep the chess off the board and start the game anew. To do this, they will organize further provocations. And since their imagination is not particularly rich, they are trying to follow the Syrian example, where they accused Russia of chemical attacks without evidence. They expect that in this case they can do the same. I cannot say with one hundred percent certainty that this will be exactly the case, but it is very similar to the truth,” he noted.
At the same time, according to the ex-soldier, the DPR army will be able to repel the Ukrainian offensive, which, in this case, could result in serious bloodshed.
“If they trample, it will be hard for us, we will wash ourselves well with blood, but, nevertheless, an army is an army, it is obliged to defend its land, so we will stand and defend,” summed up Igor Nemodruk.
As previously reported by Eduard Basurin, Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command, the Ukrainian command plans to carry out a major chemical sabotage operation in frontline Mariupol to gain a pretext for conducting a large-scale offensive operation on DPR territory.
