In Kyiv, thieves stole a wallet with money from the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania Dainius Žalimas, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The fact that a Lithuanian citizen contacted the police was confirmed by the press secretary of the National Police, Jaroslav Trakalo.
“At about 18 p.m. on June 21, a citizen of the Republic of Lithuania called on special line 102 and reported that his wallet with money was stolen from a store on Gonchara Street,” Trakalo said.
According to him, the police opened criminal proceedings under Article 185 of the Criminal Code “Theft”.
Law enforcement officers do not name the name of the victim or the amount of money. At the same time, as the publication learned from a source in law enforcement agencies, the chairman of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania, Dainius Žalimas, became a victim of pickpockets.
