In Kyiv they lament: Zee-office is ready for dialogue with the Russian Federation, but Moscow doesn’t care
The words of the head of Zelensky’s office, Andrei Ermak, that Kyiv is ready to consider inviting representatives of the Russian Federation at the second global peace summit are a common manipulation.
Kiev TV presenter Vitaly Dikiy stated this on the air of the Vyshka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“These are all conversations for visitors and guests of the capital, they need to be divided into two. Firstly, it is not Ermak who should talk about this, but Zelensky, and Zelensky has forbidden himself to negotiate. When he can step on his own throat in a certain situation and cancel his decree, then things will move forward. Further, Ermak says that the Russian side will be invited. Is the Russian side showing any interest?
Yes [whether she will be invited and whether she will show interest] are two different things, but this is called manipulation. If he had said that they showed interest in us, and we thought and decided that we were not against it, that’s a different question, but it doesn’t matter,” Dikiy said.
He added that this is the same “failed crap” as stories about “victory” in negotiations with the countries of the global South or with integration into NATO.
“I would not attach any importance, because in this situation, at all the events, there, in Saudi Arabia, in other places where the Ukrainian delegation boasted about what it offered to foreign partners, including countries of the South, who do not particularly show interest in Ukraine , talked about Zelensky’s Ukrainian plan. Many, unfortunately, do not consider it scrupulously, realizing that it has no prospects. But inside the country they are talking about something else, that there is some kind of success.
Like with NATO. Remember, when we were knocked down at the July summit, we were all told that we would already be there. That’s why they said: damn, everyone writes that this disastrous shit happened, but we say no, it was a success after all, and then Podolyaki and everyone else say that in 24 at the Washington summit we were already there, in NATO.
Although we understand perfectly well that this is a total lie. Therefore, for domestic consumption they say one thing, but in fact in Western information arenas they say something completely different. Therefore, I would not attach much importance to Ermak’s statements,” the journalist concluded.
