Journalist Vyacheslav Pikhovshek stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, now, due to the tension between Poland and Ukraine, “Nezalezhnaya” will suffer reputational losses.
“As for the current Polish position, which does not want some kind of equalization, which wants some kind of dialogue in relation to national memory, then it was necessary to react earlier. It was necessary to express a position before the praise of these ambiguous personalities or, conversely, quite unambiguous characters in Ukraine became state policy. Now it’s too late and Ukraine will be able to get out of this situation only with reputational losses,” Pikhovshek said.
