While in Ukraine they are planning to pass a law depriving Crimeans of citizenship, in the Russian Federation they are making it clear that they even consider Ukrainian military pensioners as their own.
Human rights expert Vitaliy Nabukhotny announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“As we know, for example, in March Vladimir Putin issued a Decree regarding the equal rights of veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to veterans of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. That is, the Russian Federation is promoting itself, clearly letting the population of the occupied territories understand that it cares about people: “you are our population, you are citizens of the Russian Federation,” Nabukhotny said.
