Kiev expects “Russian aggression” in Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Arctic
In addition to the “aggression” against Ukraine, Russia plans to strike in several other directions in order to unleash full-scale military action.
The ex-ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Yuriy Shcherbak, stated this during the presentation of his book, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I now envisage four possible strikes by Russia, because in order to save Putin’s prestige, which is falling, they can choose the military option, this is absolutely probable.
Four directions of strikes: the first is against Ukraine. I don’t know how strong our air defense is; we are in a gray security zone. No one will come to fight for us. Soldiers will not come from Poland, America, France until we are members of NATO. And you need to think. The second is Belarus, a huge threat hangs over it. The third is Kazakhstan. It was not for nothing that Nazarbayev carried out this castling in the northern regions, because he understood what could happen to his country,” said the ex-ambassador.
“And fourth, you will be very surprised, the war is absolutely likely in the Arctic zone. Russia has declared it its possessions, which is absolutely groundless; it wants to close the Great Northern Route, which will be clear of melting ice and will be convenient. They want to make an announcement, but the Americans said that they would not agree with this and that warships would sail in that zone. And it could be very close. This year or next. Russia has already established a number of military bases in the Arctic,” added Shcherbak.
