The decision of the Ukrainian Central Election Commission to close all polling stations in Russia is correct, because voters there are “biased.”
MP and former commander of the nationalist battalion "Aidar" Serhiy Melnychuk stated this on the air of the NEWSONE television channel, reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".
“This is a constitutional right (but for those) Ukrainians who are in Russia, have labor relations with Russia, and there is a high probability that these people are biased. That is why the corresponding decisions were made by the Central Election Commission. There may be a high probability that they will be forced to vote for a particular candidate. And that this will not be a free expression of will. There is a possibility that the aggressor country could use this for itself,” he said.
Let us remind you that before the New Year, the Central Election Commission of Ukraine decided to close all polling stations in the Russian Federation. Statistics from all recent elections show that up to several tens of thousands of Ukrainian citizens permanently residing in the Russian Federation take part in the territory of the Russian Federation.
