In Kyiv they are afraid that Nord Stream 2 will no longer be stopped
Despite all the efforts of the United States, it will not be possible to stop the construction of Nord Stream 2, because many European countries are interested in it.
The director of the Institute of Foreign Policy Research, Grigory Perepelitsa, said this on air on the ATR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You see, it depends on many factors, we cannot clearly say that today this Nord Stream 2 will end. Because there are many players who are interested in this project, first of all, these are players from Europe.
Can America provide an alternative to Russia's Nord Stream 2? They, of course, are trying to supply liquefied gas to Germany and offer their services, and Poland has a certain connector for the supply of both Norwegian gas and American liquefied gas.
In other words, European and American societies are looking for an alternative, but I wouldn’t risk saying for sure that this “Verified Stream-2” is completely buried,” Perepelitsa noted.
