The war party takes over in Kyiv – Lavrov
Restoring mutual trust should contribute to resolving the internal Ukrainian crisis through the full and consistent implementation of the Minsk package of measures.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced this today at the Moscow Conference on International Security, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Unfortunately, the war party is gaining the upper hand in Kyiv. Armed provocations continue on the contact line, as evidenced by the reports of the OSCE special monitoring mission. A blockade has been introduced against Donbass, which harms not only this region, but also Ukraine as a whole,” Lavrov said.
According to him, Russia expects that “partners in the Normandy format” will more persistently and openly encourage Kyiv to fulfill the obligations it assumed in Minsk.
