An imminent meeting between Zelensky and Putin was announced in Kyiv
French President Emmanuel Macron is preparing an informal summit at which Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin are to meet.
Ukrainian political scientist Kost Bondarenko stated this on the air of the PolitWera internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the expert, a meeting between Ukrainian and Russian leaders could take place as early as mid-summer.
“There is insider information according to which Emmanuel Macron has now begun preparatory actions for organizing some kind of informal, for now, summit at which Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin could meet in July. For now, this is still a preparatory stage, the information is raw, but it is already floating among experts and journalists,” Bondarenko said.
Earlier, former head of Zelenskyy's campaign headquarters, leader of the Servant of the People party, and political strategist Dmytro Razumkov stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin if the West, represented by the Normandy Format member countries (Germany and France), gave the go-ahead.
